Two people, a spreadsheet, and a grudge against retail mark-up

Price Shaggers started because we were sick of paying £18 for the same vitamin D3 that costs a supplement brand £4 to make. So we started buying direct, in bulk, from brands we'd already vetted for ourselves — Together Health, Napiers, Myga, Prowise — and passing the saving straight through.

How we actually operate

  • 01 — Nothing we wouldn't take ourselves

    Every brand on this site is one we researched and bought at full price before we ever sold it. No dropship catalogues, no brands we've never opened.

  • 02 — The mark-up is the target, not the quality

    We buy in bulk direct from the brand, skip the fancy retail unit and the wholesaler in the middle, and pass the difference straight to the price tag.

  • 03 — Ask us anything about a product

    Two people run this. If you email asking why we stock something, or what the phenolic count on the olive oil actually means, you'll get an answer from one of us.

The olive oil is the proof of concept

Cold-pressed within hours of picking, from a single grove, tested for phenolic count — the number most bottles on a supermarket shelf never print because it's low. Ours isn't. It costs us more to source properly and we still sell it for less than the bottles that cut corners.
